REES JEWELRY has a long history of providing outstanding service and quality craftsmanship.

It all started over 50 years ago when Bert Rees and his brother Art opened Rees Brother’s Jewelry and Watch Repair on the drag in Austin, Texas in 1952. They worked together to provide their patrons with speedy repairs for all jewelry and watches and specialized in unique custom made jewelry. After receiving his Master’s in Fine Arts at the University of Texas, Rees Brothers expanded their jewelry store to the East Texas area.  

By 1981 REES JEWELRY was a complete stop jewelry store for anyone wanting repairs, custom work, or appraisals for insurance. We’ve been going strong ever since. Technology has changed – our appraisals have gone high tech now including digital imaging for identification purposes – but one thing has stayed the same: our commitment to quality and to providing excellent service to our customers. We’ve grown and expanded over the years and plan to keep on growing… but we won’t abandon what matters most – your satisfaction!
